The true story behind Ween's Wild & Wonderful Adventures
Weensbooks is the home of Ween's Wild & Wonderful Adventures, created by Kellye Potter — a writer, a grandmother, and the real-life mom to Ween.
It all started with one small dog. Ween is Kellye's senior red dachshund, and his big personality made him the hero of the family's stories.
When the family moved to Mount Juliet, Tennessee, that fresh start became Hartwood Hollow — the neighborhood where Ween meets his friends. Before any of the books, a video of Ween racing through the backyard sprinkler traveled far past the yard and won him readers all over the country.
Every story grows from something that really happened, and every one keeps the same promise: home isn't a place you leave behind. It's something you take with you.
